Description
Join us for a delightful summer stroll through Guemes Island's beautiful Peach Preserve. Discover the fascinating story behind this spot—from its shipbuilding past to its conservation success—and learn about SJPT's dedicated stewardship with Land Steward Ben Hallowell.
We'll wander along trails that showcase the preserve's sandy shoreline, vital wetlands, and peaceful forests. You'll hear firsthand about the Trust's ongoing stewardship work, including the successful multi-year effort to remove invasive Scotch broom and restore native habitats.
