Description

Director of Stewardship Dean Dougherty and Stewardship Manager Meghan Howard will guide us on a hike along Crow Valley Creek to learn about the important role that beavers play in the islands. Dean and Meghan will also explain what a beaver dam analog (BDA) is, why we installed seven of them at JB Farm Preserve, and what this means for the future of Crow Valley Creek's water quality and biodiversity. To cap off the walk, we'll talk about some of our favorite springtime birds!

Spaces are filling up quickly! Be sure to register today to secure your spot.

We will meet at the entrance to JB Farm Preserve (124 Sunnyside Lane) and then hike from there to Crow Valley Creek.
