Volunteer: 4th of July Parade Salmon Carrying

Join Us in the 4th of July Parade!
Help represent the San Juan Preservation Trust in this year’s Friday Harbor 4th of July Parade by carrying our giant, homemade 20-foot salmon! 

The salmon is made up of five segments and really comes to life with lots of helping hands. It’s a great way to celebrate together, and “swim” through the streets as part of this beloved island tradition.

Come be part of the fun!

Details about when and where to meet, etc., will be emailed to registered participants prior to the event.

• Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm
• Location: Friday Harbor, meet at the corner of Spring Street and Price Street
• Bring: Sturdy walking shoes for parading around, water, sunscreen, and gloves (optional)
