The Seasons Round: 🌸 Spring Equinox Walk & Talk

Description

The Seasons Round Series: 🌸 Spring Equinox Walk & Talk

All life is tuned to the movement of celestial bodies and influenced by the cyclic nature of Earth’s rotation and orbit. Each season brings unique blessings and beauty as nature responds to cues orchestrated in the heavens. This "Field Class" series offers a deep dive into the rhythms of the archipelago across the calendar year.

About the Series

"The Seasons Round" consists of four guided walks on the Marilyn and Fred Ellis Preserve’s Sylvan Loop Trail, each timed to coincide with the equinoxes and solstices. Together, we will explore how local flora and fauna respond to seasonal shifts, from physiological survival mechanisms to adaptive behaviors. Using all our senses, we will traverse the preserve’s forest, meadow, wetland, and shoreline habitats to experience the specific wonders of each transition.
