Island Geology: Stories in Stone

Geologist Julia Tourney will share the story of the geologic history of the islands, explaining the dynamic forces that literally shaped the archipelago. We will look at features in the landscape that bring that story to life and discuss the relationship between geologic processes, biologic systems, and cultural history.
